Teddy Alvaro is a Program Director at Leaders’ Quest, based in Brooklyn. Prior to LQ, Teddy spent 12 years working in education across New York City, New Jersey, and Connecticut supporting diverse learning communities and promoting educational equity alongside anti-racist and anti-hegemonic practices. Teddy finds purpose in engaging and empowering stakeholders to rebuild structures radically and engage in community practices. You can find him interrogating texts, playing TTRPGs, cooking, and hiking with his family. Teddy holds a BFA in Theater from NYU and a Masters in Education from Relay.
